Unique oceanic contempory mobile
One of a kind mobile, made to order (allow 3 days to make).
Inspired by the Australian coast. Marine reflects the contrasting forms of glossy seaweed, sea sponges, weathered shells, and coral.
This mobile has three strands with numerous shapes suspended on stainless steel wire. The shapes are made of non toxic and 100% recyclable polypropylene in luscious colours of blue, translucent blue, white, black, and translucent turquoise. The colours contrast over one another adding great texture to any room.
The mobile could be hung anywhere, in an office, waiting rooms, bedrooms, nursery, living room, it looks great suspended under a light or near a window.
Size 400mm x 650mm long, or 14 inches x26 inches long, the mobiles stainless steel frame is suspended from an adjustable length of fishing line.
Each mobile is unique. I make each strand adding the shapes, balance them, then suspend the strands from stainless steel wires, then rebalance ensuring the whole mobile moves with minimal air current. I try to make the mobile so that the shapes are what stand out, and the structure becomes invisible. The mobile is pre-assembled so all you need to do is choose a location for hanging it.
The mobile comes safely packaged in a cool cardboard box, and a Pukapuka brochure complete with hanging instructions. Gift card can be included.
